LETTER FROM OUR PRESIDENT

Dear PMANC Members, I want to thank you all for being valued members of our amazing PMANC. I am excited to serve as your president for this year. I appreciate this community as it has helped provide me with so many amazing opportunities. Having been a part of this community since 2017 this is incredibly important to me and I am now excited to give back to the community which has given me so much. |

Coming back from the PPAI Expo in Vegas last week it was so great to see our industry still thriving and growing more post-pandemic as well as so many members out in attendance. We have seen our industry shift so much and be so adaptable over the last 5 years it is amazing to see how all our businesses have done so much for our communities. A big focus of the industry and trends this year focus around sustainability and supply chain transparency. We as an industry continue to try and help the environment and can continue to do so by pushing these topics.
Back by demand we are headed back to the South Bay for our Spring Showcase! We are excited to launch our Spring Showcase “Promo Paradise” will be at the Santa Clara convention center on Thursday May 2nd. This will be a great location and opportunity to connect with other industry peers and see some amazing new product. We are excited to bring an amazing group of suppliers together again which your clients will love all the new product for this year.
Since community is one of the most important things with our regionals we are working to try and provide more opportunities for events in our regional’s communities. We will be working with many of you to help grow our regional and expand the reach as well. To expand this community reach, we have partnered with some amazing small community shows like the Ideas and Inspirations tour which will be having traveling shows across our region so there are more opportunities for people to attend as they will be doing a roadshow traveling from Sacramento to Pleasanton to San Jose, to Fresno during their Nor-Cal tour.
I am eager to hear from the community as well as PMANC has been so integral to my professional success I hope to help continue providing avenues for success for all the members. I am hopeful that I can fill the shoes of some of the amazing past presidents and continue to lead us all to continued growth.
The team of Board members we have this year is incredible and I want to thank them all for their hard work and dedication already so far and for all that we have in store this upcoming year. I heavily encourage all PMANC members to get involved and help whether through volunteering with events or joining the board in the future. We all can learn so much from the collective community that helps all of us grow our businesses and this amazing industry. It is great having so many amazing people apart of this regional I am so thankful for all your continued support!

Distributors ‘Bond’ With Suppliers’ At The PPAI Expo 2024
|
|
|
The PPAI Expo 2024 lived up to the hype for industry veterans, as well as first-time attendees.
“Bonding with suppliers is the most important thing,” says Dylan McLain, senior executive account manager at El Segundo, California-based DSG International (PPAI 518096, D1). “When you have that massive order, you call customer service and they’re like, ‘We can’t turn it.’ After Expo, you say, ‘Well, I know Bill, and then Bill is like, ‘We can do it and we’ll take 15 cents off.’”
McLain has been coming to The PPAI Expo for nearly a decade and is still fascinated by the new products displayed.

J. Charles Welcomes Larry Frodyma, as the Southwest Region Sales Manager
|
|
|
J. Charles is excited to announce the addition of our newest team member Larry Frodyma as Southwest Regional Sales Manager. Larry brings a vast amount of experience and connections within the Promotions industry spanning 36+ years.
Larry began his Promotional Products career in 1987 with BDS Marketing in the Events/Promotional Marketing side of the industry where he quickly worked his way up to Director of Promotional Marketing Services. Since that time, he has continued to build a highly successful career in a multitude of positions including Founder of Frodyma On-Site a National Hispanic Promotions Agency. His career also included stops as a Distributor for eight years with Southern California based Promotional Image as well as stints on the factory side with Logomark, High Caliber, Lanco/Chocolate Inn & most recently Evans Manufacturing.
“We are very pleased that Larry has decided to join the J. Charles team," said Kale Wallner, Vice President of Sales. "His drive and passion for the industry will continue to strengthen the legacy of amazing products and service for many years to come". |
