Dear PMANC members,
As we continue to deal with Covid and supply chain issues, I enter 2022 with great optimism. I am privileged to be the incoming president of your incredibly talented 12-person Board of Directors. The board consist of volunteers from multiple suppliers and a nice blend of distributors. Our goal was to have a board with new energy and ideas. We hit a home run with this group.
Part of my optimism comes with speaking to many of our members. The consensus is that business and budgets continue to be strong. The challenge has been finding the product to fill those opportunities.
Our goal is to reengage in 2022, and this year will bring great opportunities for our members to connect again. Our “Promo Madness” Spring showcase is set for March 16th. We will have a low-key traveling tabletop show from June 14-16 hitting underserved areas helping distributors and suppliers connect. What a great success of our Fall show at Casa Real Winery, we’ve locked that in for September 21, 2022. The boards in the process of also scheduling some social events across Northern California. I hope I can fill the shoes of our incredible past presidents. I especially want to thank our last two presidents, Samantha Brown, and Mark Shinn. They lead us through the last two years of unprecedented times as a result of Covid. Our board continues to fiscally strong thanks to their efforts.
Our board is only as good as our membership. I cannot emphasize enough that your membership and participation in events are key. I also encourage our members to volunteer. We need to leverage the experience of our members, and we fresh ideas and energy. I am so pleased to be giving back to a board and community that has connected me with lifelong friends and has provided so well for my family.
