WENDY MITCHEL -  Principal Purpose (Moderator)
After an exciting career in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors, Wendy decided it was time to collect up all the incredibly talented people she’d accumulated in her network over the years and create something different to help businesses find a social or environmental purpose as part of their business model. As the founder of Purpose by W, a consulting business focused on purpose as a business driver; she believes organizations can truly live their values AND make the world better AND make money.

Working in a startup environment is not new to Wendy.  She was Founder of the Ottawa Community Housing Foundation and Co-founder of Dress for Success Ottawa—both of which continue to prosper in the Ottawa community.

Not busy enough, Wendy’s current side hustle is Chapter Director for Shelter Movers, a volunteer-run nonprofit dedicated to providing free moving and storage services for families fleeing domestic violence.

ANDREW GRAHAM - Director of Custom & Wholesale, Marine Layer
Andrew started his career as the 8th employee at Groupon and had a crazy ride for 5 years as he saw the company grow exponentially and then ultimately fall after going public. Following Groupon, Andrew moved to SF to start a sales team at a software start up where he was there for 2.5 years. Then 3.5 years ago, Andrew joined Marine Layer after being a HUGE brand fan and one of our top customers. There was an opportunity to start a new department for the company that did not exist prior. His title is Director of Custom Projects and while promo is his #1 responsibility, he also manages ML's wholesale relationships and sustainability initiatives.

SAM BROWN - Vice President of Marketing & Corporate Communications, BrandVia
As a senior strategic leader, I enjoy the opportunity to shape the firm's operational and marketing plans with a fact-based analysis of the state of the business and its position in the market. Applying my well-developed analytical and management to assess opportunities.
